FPE Automation has robots and humans working arm-in-arm for increased efficiency

That was the rallying cry from many people at the onset of automation in manufacturing. People feared that the use of robotics would eliminate the need for humans. FPE Automation, based right here in Elk Grove Village, partners with Universal Robots to distribute smaller footprint and tabletop mounted collaborative robots that do jobs like pulling parts, picking and placing parts on and off conveyors to automate repetitive tasks, moving carts and much more. FPE also offers certification training for associates to manage the robots within their shops, providing another employment avenue for these employees that they may never have pursued before.
